is Delfleet, Essential (esss-911678). Insulated with Dynamat Extreme.
Body Mods by Owner: Air intakes outside of headlights made functional and connected
to custom made air cleaner. Air containment plate from grill over top of radiator. ,Monte
Carlo bar and brackets. Fiberglass fan shroud for two speed fan. Battery box removed
and flat panel with reinforcing ribs made to replace indented area. Sheet metal filler
plates between shock towers and fender. Export brace cover. AC lines rerouted outside
of engine compartment. Adjustable motor mounts (not Ron Morris). Transmission
tunnel raised 1 V4" with custom trans. mount. Complete rollerized clutch.1inkage .. Shock
tower reinforcements, both inner and outer. Sub-frame connectors. Notched and rolled _
fender lips. Inside rear wheel wells sliced and widened to avoid tire contact. Spare tire --
dimple removed from right rear wheel well. Rear view mirrors are both remote
electrically adjustable and have turn signals lights in them. Instrument panel is custom
made for Autometer gauges (not a JME insert). Billet fan/temp. control housing. Custom
counsel and housing for Air Ride controls.
Engine: 427 cu.in. Dart block built my Smeding Performance. 4340 Forged crank and
rods, roller hydraulic cam (.508/.532 intake/exhaust, 222/232 intake/exhaust duration at
.050), 1.6 roller rockers and roller lifters, Edelbrock heads, air-gap manifold, QFT carb.,
Vintage Air Front Runner AC with serpentine belt. 496hp @ 5400 rpm, 553 ft.lbs. at
3900rpm.
Exhaust: FPA long tube ceramic coated headers, polished 304 stainless tubes with 'X'
pipe, Ford Racing stainless dual mode mufilers and stainless Megs exhaust tips.
Drivetrain: McLeod scatter shield and RST twin disk clutch, TKO 5 speed transmission,
aluminum driveshaft, rear end housing has been narrowed 1 V4" on each side, 31 spline
axles (Dutchman), 9" gear set with 3:70 ratio and traction lock.
Suspension: Upper and lower control arms have been boxed, upper arm has been
dropped 1 " at mount and had an 8 degree rotation done to ball joint mount. Heavy
duty sway bar with custom mount covers. TCP steering rack. Brakes are Baer Track
units front and rear with 13"drilled and zinc coated rotors. Air Ride system with tank and
controls in trunk next to battery.
Rims and Tires: Budnik 'Cannon'series rims with ceramic coated centers and polished
outers, 18x8 & 18xlO. BFG tires, 245/40118 and 275/40/18
Interior: Tilt wheel out of'75 Ford Galaxy, seats are '87 FordT-bird Turbo Coupe with
inflatable lumbar support. Front and back seats are upholstered in leather. Inside rear
view mirror has integrated interior dome light as well as individual map lights. Owner
made and upholstered door panels and upholstered trunk. Roll bar, electric windows,
cruise control, variable speed window wipers and interior operated hood and trunk
